The slipping and launching of vessels is normally done on a Sunday, although alternative arrangements may be made if suitable to both FCCS and the party wishing their vessel slipped.

Bookings for slipping are normally for a 14-day period, slipping on a Sunday morning, and launching on the Sunday morning of day 15.
